| Opticon Opticon is an excellent choice for filling tiny voids in cutting material that keeps it from getting a full polish. After the pre-polish stage, a hard to polish cab can be treated with Opticon. When the Opticon hardens, a high polish can be obtained. Also good for stabilizing turquoise. We do not ship this product
outside the US.

Refractol A drop of Star Refractol will immediately show the star or cat's eye on rough. It helps in selecting the best rough as well as in orienting a stone for optimum performance before cutting.

| Leather Polishing Pads Leather pads are used for polishing with oxide polishes such as cerium oxide or tin oxide. We have two types of leather pads: cowhide and elk. Cowhide has a rougher surface than elk. Leather pads do NOT have an adhesive backing.
So, you have to use feathering cement to attach them to a base plate or
master lap. Feathering cement can be found on our accessories
page. |

| Templates Templates make it easy to draw the outline of your cabochon on a slab, especially for calibrated stones. Plastic and Metal Template Sets are the same, except for the material they are made from. Both materials have advantages: you can see your slab through a plastic template, but the they wear out and deform after scribing a lot of stones.
